By booking a garage repair or installation service through our website, phone, or other communication channels, you (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”) agree to the following Terms of Service:
1. Scheduling & Appointments
When you schedule an appointment with Garage First Call, you agree to provide accurate contact details and service address. You authorize our technician or partner contractor to visit your property on the agreed date and time.
2. Service Fees & Payments
- A non-refundable service call fee (typically $150) may be required to confirm your appointment. This covers technician travel, time, and diagnosis.
- If you approve the quoted repair or installation, this fee may be applied toward the final invoice.
- All invoices must be paid in full upon completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept credit/debit card, check, cash, Zelle.
3. Customer Financial Responsibility
By booking a service, you agree:
- You are financially responsible for any approved work completed during the visit.
- If someone else (e.g., a tenant or property manager) schedules on your behalf, you remain the party responsible for all charges.
- If additional work is needed after inspection, we will provide a separate estimate and obtain your approval before proceeding.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- To avoid a cancellation fee, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule.
- Same-day cancellations or no-shows may result in a $150 cancellation fee.
5. Liability Disclaimer
We are not liable for pre-existing damage, unpermitted structures, code violations, or issues unrelated to our work. Any warranties or guarantees will be provided in writing for specific services or parts.
6. Use of Subcontractors
Garage First Call may assign or subcontract services to qualified independent technicians or companies. All service providers are required to meet our performance standards.
7. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service if unsafe conditions are present or if the customer behaves inappropriately toward our staff.
8. Disputes & Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of IL. Any disputes shall be resolved in the local courts of Lake , unless otherwise required by law.
By proceeding with your appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
